I live in denim skirts in summer, they're so effortless to wear but still look fashionable and looks like you've made an effort. I'm wearing a Straight Black Frayed Denim Skirt which is a staple piece I found from Primark (promise I do shop at other places...) which I absolutely adore! I'm a sucker for denim skirts as they're obviously perfect for the summer season but also can be worn all year round with tights which looks just as good, so a denim skirt is an all year round staple. In this summery look I paired this denim skirt with a Striped Blue Vest Top from New Look which I did actually buy last summer however it suits the black of the skirt and as the skirt is quite plain it adds some detail into the outfit. I just tucked the front of the top into the skirt to give a little bit of shape at my waist and left it hanging at the back.

Finally on my feet I'm wearing my Suede Twist Sliders from Primark which were £6 and I absolutely love them as they're so comfy but aren't your average flip flop. They're so easy to wear as the light blue/grey colour is neutral so I was wearing them with everything on holiday. The picture isn't amazing of them (apologies my sister wasn't putting much effort in to it and I didn't want it that close due to my vile feet) but they have a twist bow like design which reminds my of the Fenty sliders and I think the detail makes them look much more expensive than they are.

I love finding cheap makeup that works well as I really hate spending money especially when I'm trying to save money which never works very well as I always seem to be wanting more makeup and clothes! So I've decided to share my top favourite products that are all under £5 and are obviously all from the drugstore! All these products have fantastic quality and performance and it shows how over priced some products are when all of these are under £5 and work just as well as much more expensive products!

♡ Miss Sporty Really Me Foundation Stick 'Really Ivory'- £3.99;
Ever since I found this foundation I've always loved it and I was pleasantly surprised by it as it's such good quality and is everything I wanted in the foundation. It's light coverage which makes it perfect for everyday or school and it blends in so easily and quickly. It's the first non-liquid foundation that I've tried but it feels so smooth on the skin and has a flawless finish even though it's not my preferred dewy finish that I normally go for. I find that this foundation lasts all day and I find it quite moisturising as well, my skin never feels dry or raw when I take it off and for £3.99 it's for sure one of my favourites from the drugstore.

♡ MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow Palette - £4;

♡ Collection Speedy Highlighter 'Pearl Sheen' - £3.99;
A pigmented highlight is something I'd definitely expect to be over £5 however this pearly glow is a £4 bargain from the drugstore. I love the pearly shade of this highlight as it's different to my go-to champagne shades and I find a natural pearly sheen is a lot harder to find in the drugstore so this is an all round winner. I've always loved the idea of this highlight as it's so easy to apply and like the name suggests, so quick and speedy to apply. The formula of it is smooth and silky so it glides onto the face with maximum pigment and then I'll tend to just blend over it with my fan brush so there isn't any harsh edges. It's also such a bargain as there is so much product in the highlighter stick and to achieve a pearly glow you only need a little swipe so it lasts for ages.

♡ Freedom Pro Eyebrow Light-Medium - £3.50;
This is my go-to for my brows when I'm going natural on the brows and it's such good quality and I always forget how affordable it is. In this set you get three powders, one eyebrow wax, a small brush and pair of tweezers (which actually are very good despite the small size) as well as a big mirror perfect to do your brows in. And to get all that for £3.50 and it all being super quality is a no-brainer! I only tend to use the light brown/blonde shade in the top right corner which suits my brows perfectly and it's lasting for ages and is such good quality. All the powders and easy to apply and blend and last all day with or without brow gel.

♡ Natural Collection Loose Powder 'Neutral Translucent' - £2.49;
If you're ever looking for cheap makeup that has guaranteed good quality then I'd certainly suggest Natural Collection, a Boots own brand which is ridiculously cheap but has quality that is much more expensive. I love a loose powder and this has always been one I'll repurchase as it keeps shine away all day which is perfect for me considering my forehead can tend to be shine city by the end of the day if I don't have the perfect powder. The shade doesn't give much coverage but prevents shine and keeps my makeup in place all day whilst not caking up my face whatsoever which is perfect. You get quite a fair bit of powder in the pot and a little goes a long way when applying so I've never been close to running out with this. I've always been super impressed with Natural Collection's products so I really want to try out some more of their products especially the highlighter sticks!


♡ Essence Satin Touch Blush 'Satin Love' - £1;

I was on holiday last week and I always look like an absolute state on holiday so I didn't expect to have any looks to show however since finding this top hanging on it's own in my local Primark, I knew I'd found the jackpot (aka my favourite holiday top).

The top is this black and white frill edge bandeau which was a bargain of only £4 in (of course) Primark. What drew me towards it was how it looks so simple but would look stunning paired with shorts and I had nothing like it in my wardrobe already. This top is so effortless and comfy to wear especially in the heat and can be paired with anything for a comfortable outfit for day time or evening wear.
I wore this top with my favourite shorts which are of course my Ripped Blue Denim Mom Shorts from Topshop which I lived in on holiday as they're so comfy and I'm loving ripped denim at the moment despite the constant comments from my family telling me to sew my clothes back together...

And on my feet I wore my White Converse (which did use to be white, believe it or not) as all my holiday sandals happened to rub (no surprise) so of course I stuck with my converse for a comfy and casual option. However I do really like my Converse with this outfit as they suit the basic look and suit the simple bandeau.

This was such a super comfortable outfit and I was super impressed with this bargain of a top which is so easy to wear and for only £4 I'm super happy I bought it.

As some of you may know I recently went on holiday with my family to Nice which is a city in France. I've been to Nice many times before so when we go we have a very relaxed holiday of doing not a lot and mainly consists of lying at the beach. However I really wanted to do a Travel styled post as I don't often have many excuses to do one considering I don't travel that often per year.
I thought I'd share my favourite places around the city with lots of photos which will either give you travel inspiration or to just be nosy at my holiday snaps!

♡ Villefranche Beach;
I love going to the beach on holiday and this beach has always been one of our families favourite that we always head back to. It's a public beach with one private beach area and the whole beach is always packed with people admiring the glistening sea and it's one of my favourite views. There is restaurants along the side of the sea and then the beach which looks out to the sea which is so relaxing to swim in! The only downside is that it's super busy in the summer so I did also go to this small beach however I don't know the name of that one!!

♡ Old Town;
The old town in Nice (also known as Vieux Nice) is a top tourist place as the small cobbled streets are full of people morning to night. It's right next to the promenade which makes it a prime location and it's full to the brim of bars, restaurants, gift shops and even a Cathedral, so there is something for everyone! And you can often find some street entertainment around which is always pretty cool!
♡ Promenade Des Anglais;
The promenade that stretches for miles is busy all day and night, with the pebbled beach running across the whole prom and bars and restaurants that have fabulous night life. The prom is also right in front of the Old Town which makes it the perfect location and I love strolling down the prom in the night whilst picking up an ice cream on the way!|

♡ Avenue Jean Médecin;
Obviously you need the shops on holiday so if you're in Nice this is the place to be. From Zara, H&M, Galeries Lafayette and of course Sephora. Not only is the street a dream to walk down with the beautiful architecture and a tram line so it's extremely easy to get to. The shops are all modern and there's something for everyone. I'd recommend looking in Galeries Lafayette, it's a huge and extremely posh department store and of course there's a big Sephora which I actually resisted from but then ended up spending my money in Zara as the Zara there is incredible!

♡ Fenocchio's Ice Cream;
Everyone has their favourite ice cream parlour on holiday, Fenocchio's is one of the best for sure! With three fenocchio's (that I know of!!) in Nice which are all local to the centre of the city, it's such a popular place and is definitely is where you need to go if you're in Nice. I love ice cream and this place is my top fave ever! They have such a big range of flavours from sorbet to rice pudding ice cream (ew) but my favourites have to be the Lotus, Caramel, Cookies and Kinder flavours and my sister raves about the white chocolate flavour although I refuse to try it as I hate white chocolate!

Having a range of blog props are essential for any blogger who takes blog photos and I always try and use a range of props and I thought it would be a perfect post to do considering I've just bought a couple of products to help with my blog photography.
Also this is my first 'blogger help' style of post and I'd love to post more of them on my blog so let me know if there is any certain ones you would like to see!

♡ Flowers;
Whether they're fake or real, I wouldn't be able to take my blog photos without my fake flowers. I use fake flowers as they're heap and practical and look just as good as real! Flowers ad colour and shape but also can be slotted into gaps in photos which is super useful if you have an awkward gap. You can add flowers to a basic layout and it can look 10x better and I can't think of my last flatlay where I didn't use them. Recently I've been loving these small flowers from Hobbycraft which did originally come on

♡ Magazine;
Having an open or closed magazine in a blog photo is perfect to create a stylish look to a picture and looks casual like you've just finished reading the latest issue of Vogue when in fact you're there squatting trying to find the perfect angle and lighting for the photo... I try and find a two page spread on a relevant topic that looks colourful and clear and this makes the perfect prop. Also when taking blog photos with little product a magazine is perfect to fill some space.

♡ Wallpaper Samples / Wrapping Paper;
Patterned or coloured paper are a great way to give pops of colour and pattern into blog photography. I've previously used coloured paper in the background of my photos which is a really easy way to give some contrast and fill the background when you have a plain photo.

♡ Tray / Dishes;
I absolutely love having trays and dishes in photos as they're perfect to put things on to bring different levels and bring variety especially if you have multiple products in the photo. I love using small jewellery dishes as they're not too big but are the perfect size to fit some makeup on or whatever you want and definitely can make a photo.

♡ Vinyl;
I recently bought my own marble vinyl which I stuck onto cardboard which is now my new background and I'd definitely recommend buying a sheet of vinyl as it's so easy and makes the perfect background. I got mine in marble as I've always wanted a marble background and this is the perfect background that I was looking for. I once bought marble tiles which I wouldn't recommend as they looked awful!
You ca buy vinyl from all across the internet and it tends to be very affordable so if you're fed up of your background then I'd definitely recommend looking at vinyl.

♡ Ornaments;
I tend to find little bits from my room that I use in my photos like ornaments. I often use my Copper Pineapple Pot which is perfect to fill an empty space and I love anything copper. I feel like it's always useful to have little bits and pieces that you can use for your blog photos as they make a photo. You can get little pieces from Primark as I also have an elephant candle which is super handy to have for blog photos.

I absolutely love being tanned however the only downside is I'm naturally quite pale and I never tan in the sun, I completely burn so I love to fake my tan as there seems no other way for me to be able to achieve a bronzed glow! I only use really natural tans as I'm not a big fan of the tangerine look so these are my three favourite products that I use for a natural, healthy bronzed look!
Also I would 100% recommend using a tanning mitt when you come to tan as it makes life so much easier as it's quick to apply and doesn't make you hands a completely mess as well as it definitely applies the tan smoother and streak free. I just use Primark's tanning mitt which is £2 and can be used multiple times if you wash it when used.

♡  Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion;
This has been one of my favourites for a good while now and I could not recommend this enough as it's the best gradual tanner that I've ever used. I have the lighter one 'fair to normal skin' and a darker one 'normal to dark skin'. The lighter one is perfect for a light glow but if you want more of a noticeable and bronzed glow then the darker shade is perfect. I love building up the darker gradual tan by applying it a couple of times throughout the week as this gives a gorgeous bronzed look which does look natural. 
I also love how this is a moisturiser as well as a gradual tanned as this means my skins still getting moisture. This makes my skin super smooth and moisturised and I use this most times after I shower and I've definitely noticed a good difference in my skin.
The only downside with this is that it does leave your skin quite sticky so I definitely wouldn't use this before you go to bed as it's not the most comfiest of things!

♡  Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan Medium Matte;
I've had this tan for quite a long time and never really used it however after using it a couple of times recently I've fell in love with it. It's super easy to apply and isn't drying at all, it's very lightweight and absorbed into my skin so quickly. This shade is meant to give a 'healthy bronze glow' which I definitely think it does as when applied with a mitt it doesn't streak at all and gives an even tan that isn't sticky on the skin.
This gives an instant tan that is such a gorgeous bronzed shade and although it isn't as natural as the Dove Gradual Tan it does give a natural tanned glow. It does claim to have a matte finish however it gives a glowy look and I wouldn't say it's matte at all. Why I love this is because it's wash off which at first I thought was pointless however after using it and washing it all off the next day is so practical. Probably would be annoying if you're just tanning in general and want it to last but if you're using it just for one night then it's perfect.


♡ Solait Bronzing Foam Medium To Dark;
This is the first mousse tan that I've ever used and I do really like the mousse formula. This is so easy to blend out and massage into your skin and does not go streaky at all. When applied it's not sticky whatsoever and doesn't feel like you have applied anything which I love.
The tan says to apply and leave for at least 4 hours and then wash off to give a healthy looking tan. You can just wear the tan without washing it off but it looks much more natural after washing it off I normally apply 2 layers and leave it on for 15 hours as I apply it at night then wash it off in the morning. When washed off it looks so natural and I use the Medium shade and it still looks natural even with two layers. This is definitely my favourite tan at the moment and I'd definitely recommend looking at Solait's tanning range as all the products look so good and are all so affordable!

This spring and summer the cropped trousers have been super popular whether they're culottes, palazzo pants or gaucho pants. Crop loose pants are so easy to wear, you can wear them for a casual day look or dress them up for a chic evening outfit. I've loved wearing mine so far and I'll definitely be buying some more.

The culottes I'm wearing are the New Look Petite Pink Tie Waist Wide Leg Cropped Trousers which were £19.99 and I absolutely love them! I'm not usually petite however there was non available in the regular but they're only slightly more cropped which still look fine. What drew me towards them was the pink shade of them as they're so easy to style and I think the pink shade is perfect for this season. The wide leg style is so comfortable and makes the culottes suitable for everyday as they look casual and can be dressed up or down.

I've styled the culottes with this Black and White Striped V-Neck from Ralph Lauren which suits the pink trousers so well. The top is casual but the v-neck gives it more shape and loosely tucked into the culottes gives the whole outfit shape. I'd recommend tucking your top into culottes as the culottes are loose fitting so it gives shape at your waist and also looks super relaxed.

For footwear, I wore my Vans Old Skool Trainers as they make the look casual and I love the 'smart casual' look of the trousers and trainers.  And of course I wore my Beige Shoulder Bag from River Island which you can see what I carry in it here! And I love how the bag keeps the look casual and suits the pink culottes.
I then also wore my Boohoo Ripped Denim Jacket which I literally live in and I love the denim with the pink trousers and for a casual day look this denim jacket goes so well.

I love this outfit so much as it's super casual however the trousers give it a stylish, sophisticated look that looks a little more dressy and put together than it would with jeans or a skirt.

 Your festival outfit is basically the main event and it needs to be perfect! I love seeing festival outfits and seeing who wears what so of course for my last post in my Festival Week had to be about the outfit. I've hummed and hawed over what outfit I wanted to feature for this post and I wanted to show something realistic but still fashionable.
Also this is my last post of my festival themed week so I've hoped you've all enjoyed it and I'll be back to posting on every Tuesday and Sunday!

So I took inspiration from Jasmine Tookes where she showed off her bralette underneath a shirt as I loved that style of look. I wore this White Shirt which I actually found in my sisters wardrobe (sharing is caring!!)  but it's from GAP and it's a plain white shirt which you can either wear as it is, tucked into shorts or a skirt or tied at the bottom. I tucked the white shirt into my shorts however I wished it knotted the shirt at the bottom  as I think tying the shirt at the bottom makes the look casual and I think is perfect for a festival as it looks effortless.
Underneath the shirt I wore my Pink Halter Neck Bralette from Victoria Secret which you can slightly see as I didn't button the shirt the whole way up. I adore this bralette, it's so so comfy and I think it's so pretty. It a gorgeous deep pink shade and the detailing in the lace is amazing!

I then paired the shirt and bralette with a pair of shorts which are a pair of Ripped Blue Mom Shorts from Topshop which I absolutely love as I'm a big fan of ripped denim despite how expensive these shorts were! I'd definitely recommend Mom shorts as they're not tight so in the hot weather they're still super comfy and I love the look of these shorts and I can imagine them to last for a good couple of years! And I wore my River Island Black Belt With Silver Detailing which is quite chunky but I love the big silver buckle and definitely completes the whole outfit.

For shoes I wore my Vans Old Skool Trainers which are my go-to shoes and I think these shoes go so well with the whole look and they suit the shorts and belt perfectly. Depending on what festival you're going to and what the weather is like then wellies make a perfect option and also look great with shorts!

I've been looking forward to creating this look for so long and I absolutely love festival makeup so I've tried my best with this look!
My aim for this look was to have a dewy base which is glowy and have a glitter eye which will give the overall look a summer vibe. The look doesn't scream festivals however with a festival outfit and if you added some glitter then it would look stunning!

I started by using my Miss Sporty Insta Glow Primer which is perfect for a dewy look and I also added some Seventeen Skin Wow Primer to the points in my face where I wanted to be highlighted (cheekbones, nose, cupids bow & chin). The Miss Sporty Primer is the best summer base, highlighted and so suited for a dewy look and the Seventeen highlighting primer gives extra highlight to areas on my face.
I then took my Freedom Pro HD Green Corrector Concealer on my cheeks which I'm quite generous with as I think to cover my redness as much as possible! I take this mainly on my cheeks but add a little bit more to my forehead and nose.

For foundation I'm using my all time favourite L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation in the shade 202 'Creamy Natural' which I blend in with my Spectrum Beauty Sponge and this gives such a dewy base but with quite a lot of coverage as well.
To conceal and highlight my under eyes I took my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in shade 1 which I also took on my chine, nose and forehead to highlight. I blended this in with my beauty blender again which looks dewy and natural.

As I'm trying to keep this look dewy I didn't want to use a lot of powder so I used my Technic Colour Correcting Loose Powder and lightly dusted it under my eyes. I didn't put it anywhere else as I didn't want the powder to take away the glow!

Moving onto to contouring, I've taken the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer and used my contour brush to sculpt out my cheekbones which I do quite lightly and I love this shade as it's super blendable and suits my skin tone quite well!
Then to bronze I used my E.L.F Bronzer in 'Golden' which I absolutely love and I feel like I've talked about a lot! This is super natural and I take this under my cheekbones, jaw line and the top of my forehead.

For highlighter I took my classic The Balm Mary Lou Highlighter which is a pearly champagne shade which I think is so suited for festivals as it's super pigmented. And I applied this with my finger and then blended it out with my fan brush for maximum pigment!


Moving onto my eyebrows I started by using my Rimmel Master Shape Brow Pencil to outline my brows and filled them in with my ABH Dipbrow Pomade in 'Blonde'. I didn't use brow gel with this as I went in quite heavy with the brow pomade and it keeps my brows in place very well anyway.
I then carved out my brows with the same concealer as before which is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in shade 1 which makes your brows look 10x better!!


For the eyes I'm starting by priming by using the same concealer again and I took my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 to keep it in place. So for eyeshadow I took my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer as a transition shade in my crease which gives a warm toned shadow in your crease and is so easy to blend.
I then took a dark brown matte from my Morphe 35T Palette and used this in my very outer crease and outer third of my eye. And then took a champagne shimmer shade from the 35T again and blended this in my inner corner and to the centre or my eye. I then took a nude transition shade from the Morphe and blended the shimmer in completely and took this lightly in my crease.
I then took the Helen E Fixing Gel and dabbed this in the inner third of my eye to keep my glitter in place. And I packed on the Helen E glitter pigment in the shade 'Sand' which is such a gorgeous golden shade and goes so well with the whole eye look.
To finish off my eye I took the brown matte from the Morphe palette and blended this out on my lower lash line and of course I then used my Mayebelline Lash Sensational Mascara!

For my lips I took my Mac Patent Polish Lip Pencil in 'It's Really Me' and then used the Clinique Glosswear in 'Angel Pink which is such a pretty pinky nude and looks stunning with the whole makeup look.
